Gerald A. Miller (Tony) founded Cambium Tree Care in 1998 to tend to trees affected by storms and harsh weather. He noticed the lack of care and environmental conscience with which so many tree companies approached arboreal management.
He responded by steering Cambium in a better direction. An ISA certified arborist, Tony approaches trees as living organisms that require proper attention and care. He has nurtured Cambium’s unique corporate reputation for protecting tree health and safety, and for consistent high levels of training and certification for Cambium’s staff members.
Through hard work, education, and training Cambium continued to grow. By 2001, Tony’s growing knowledge and passion led to related areas of expertise, with a focus on professional landscaping. In 2005, he launched Cambium’s landscaping division with Michael Miller at the helm. A passionate landscaper with years of hands-on experience, Michael opened our Mobile, Alabama location, and manages Cambium’s talented landscaping teams. They work hand in hand with Cambium’s arborists and designers, resulting in landscapes that are truly a cut above.
Today, Cambium continues to expand, always with an eye towards optimal performance, artistry, education, service and safety. Our goal is to stay well ahead of the cutting edge.
