FAQ

What is Cambium’s payment policy?

Most of our tree care operations do not require a deposit; we get paid when the job is complete and you are satisfied. All too often we hear of instances where large deposits are paid upfront or projects are paid in full prior to completion, only to find the job was not performed properly. Cambium Tree Care and Preservation, Inc. will never ask for disproportionately large deposits or to be paid in full upfront. We caution against contracting with companies who conduct business in this manner.

Does Cambium provide guarantees?

Yes! We offer a 1-year guarantee on all trees that are planted and maintained by our arborists. If an issue arises, you can count on Cambium to be there for you.

Who shall I call with questions or concerns?

At Cambium, we take communication seriously. Your initial contact stays with you throughout the duration of the job, from the proposal stage through implementation, all the way to completion. This person will spend a good deal of time overseeing your project, ensuring attention to detail, easy communication, and great results.

Will Cambium match a competing quote?

Chances are, we can. However, price disparities are often based on companies willing to cut corners, sacrifice quality, provide cheaper un-trained labor, or provide poor quality plant materials. At Cambium, we price fairly, based on high quality craftsmanship and materials. With us, you always get a little more than you pay for. With others, you may get a lot less, even if the bottom line cost is lower.

Help! I don’t know which company to choose!

First of all, it takes more than a pickup truck and a chainsaw! Selecting a tree service contractor in the Gulf Coast area is not easy. Protect yourself and your property. Always look for a company that has an I.S.A. Certified Arborist on staff and ask to see the certification card. Ask for a copy of their state license and ask for a certificate of insurance to be sent directly to you from the insurance agency. Make sure the contractor carries workers compensation coverage. Do not accept a copy of a certificate directly from the contractor. For more information on hiring a tree care company, go to isa-arbor.com or treesaregood.com.
